OVERVIEW
I had the opportunity to work as the lead User Experience Designer on a project with
Verizon Wireless while working for Moxie - a marketing agency in Atlanta, Georgia.
With a notable rise among online shoppers on Tablets, Verizon partnered with Moxie to deliver
an eCommerce experience catered to Tablet users.

BUSINESS OBJECTIVE
Cater to the Tablet Shopper
Tablet usage is growing among online shoppers at an attractive rate. Verizon wants to meet the
customer where they are, in an experience catered to the Tablet shopper specifically. Every user on
a tablet device that visit VerizonWireless.com would see the website.
Verizon Wireless.com for Touch
Take advantage of the real estate available on a Tablet screen. Consider the nuances of browsing
with your finger, rather than a mouse pointer.
Performance will inform other Verizon Wireless initiatives
Learnings from this effort would inform other Verizon Wireless initiatives from various agencies
around the world.

Let the Device Sing
The products took center stage to maximize the allure of shopping on tablet.
Maximum screen real estate was dedicated to devices, whether that is Single or Grid View.

No Compromise on eCommerce Features
One of the more exciting features to design was the Product Comparison.
On a tablet, it was fairly easy to visualize how two devices would appear next to one another.
The real challenge was figuring out how to navigate the device categories and not compromise on
the e-commerce features that digital shoppers expect - overview, specs, reviews and promotions.

Easy Customer Conversions
Shoppers can easily locate purchase options, due to the increased target size for conversion CTAs.
Choosing device color, storage options, and accessories were bright, fun, and easy to click.

OBSERVING THE RESULTS
A "Mini" Thanks from Verizon
Though I do not personally have any metrics for this project, as this was in 2013 and very early in
my career, I do have a fond memory related to the performance of this project.
The Verizon Wireless Account and Leadership team was so excited about the results of the project,
that everyone on our team of thirteen people received an iPad Mini with cellular capabilities - the top
of the line iPad Mini offering at the time.
